I never thought that being a writer would be hard. This is not implying that writing is not fun nor full of benefits. Just stating that it is hard because you have to keep the interest of your audience. The only issue I am facing now is ...who is my audience? For years, I wrote for myself. If others liked it, I was happy but my work was never geared for them. Should my work be geared towards anyone? Would I lose the honesty in my work if I did so? Would it be considered my work anymore?
So who is my audience? Is it me or world? Can it be both? The only thing that I can do is write and hope that others like it or at least respect my opinion. May be easier said that done!
