Just MalanB has moved to Tumblr and will be leaving Blogger in 2017!

It has been a very long time since I posted on Just Malanb.

I am happy that I was able to express my thoughts on this platform but, to be honest, I found that this blogging platform no longer fits the needs and message that I wish to convey for the Just Malanb brand.

So, with that being said, this will be my final post on blogger for Just Malanb. I will be official deleting this blog on January 1st, 2017, which I think is a fitting day to replace the old with the new. I am happy and sad to say the JustMalanb has moved to http://justmalanb.tumblr.com/

Read a book = Growing Up!

Everyone complains about how their culture or community looks in the media. Many argue about racism, reverse racism and everything in between but I never see anyone talking about a solution. How about change how you and your family live, eat, and think!

In other words, do not follow what your favorite rapper/actor/singer's lifestyle because they may be making the wrong decision and carrying themselves in the wrong way. Follow the basic principles of being a man or woman- Take care of your responsibilities, think about what you are buying, be present in your families lives, take care of yourself, and finally educate yourself and learn about yourself and others. So when I remember about this song read a book, it about tell people what they should do and not what society wants you to do!

So Read A Book! Grow in Knowledge! Be An Adult!

The only good is knowledge and the only evil is ignorance.

The Michael Jackson Tribute in Harlem

Wow! I had to get a picture of the Apollo Marquee. I took many pictures of the sign but this is the best! If you live on the East Coast and you love MJ than check out Harlem, NYC for the memorial!

A picture of the crowd. Mind you this was on Sunday July 28th! Michael touched many! They was dancing, crying, singing, and remember all things MJ! I wonder how big will the crowd be Tomorrow!

I tried to get a closer picture of the tribute but there were so many people there paying their respects. Everyone love MJ and his music!

A unknown artist draws a tribute in Harlem on 125th Street. Great Job!

A view of one part of the autograph wall! The wall is huge. My family wrote on the wall! I am probably making my way up there for the big MJ celebration tomorrow June 30! Hopefully I will see you there!

I am so sad

Michael Jackson is dead. I feel emotionally and physical sick right now. At first I did not believe the news but we all know that it is true. A great artist, entertainer, song writer, dancer, humanitarian, father, son, and brother has passed.

I just at a lost for word. My head is killing me and I feel so sick right now. Remember the Legend! This video expresses how I felt about the news...

I am just beside myself.

Goals, DReam, Beach, and Sand

I had such a relaxing, silly, drama full weekend. Yes, I don't know how a person can do this but I did! Man, I went to a club at the shore called Madison! Well, I think it is called Madison. Anyway, it was a nice club but the music was not on point. Some people were acting crazy. I am trying no to go into details but some ladies were acting very foolish in the club. Otherwise, I chilled and had some silly moments with my family.

Then I got to go to the shore. I miss the shore. Once you are ashore baby, you never go back. I hope that I will make it in the writing industry so I can move back to the beach with the sand in my toes and my eyes on the water.
The city life is not for me. Great to visit, even to explore for a year or two but not to live. Just me. I love the city for the beauty and creativity in it. You have to be harder to live in the city. To survive in the city. Your skin has to be thick and your dreams untouchable. I just not there yet. I wonder of I ever will! Only time will tell!

Breaking up is not that hard to do

So today, I finally told my "friend' that our friendship is over. Strangely, I feel a lot better. I feel as if 170 pounds was lifted off of me. What a relief! The best thing you can do is to get rid of a bad friend. Yes, I know that I sound a bit zenish but it is true. My advise, Get rid of all your phony/fake friends. It is the best thing you can do for your life, career, and your sanity.

Remember that changes are good in life. They make room for bigger ad better things. So why not change the bad things in your life!
